Butternut Squash from Provence

The Provence butternut squash produces ribbed fruits generally weighing 5 to 8 kg but can reach up to 20 kg! These can be kept for 3 to 8 months. The squash will appreciate soil rich in organic matter, good sunshine and regular watering. This variety with orange flesh is tasty and can be cooked as a puree, gratin or even soup.
