The Biothane® material is very tear-resistant due to the polyester fabric core and can withstand a tensile force of 130 - 453 kg, depending on the width of the material. Since it is an artificially produced material, there are no predetermined breaking points, unlike leather. The leash is completely water-repellent and therefore does not soak up full of water. So it never gets heavier when bathing or walking through the rain and dries super quickly. In addition, it remains non-slip in the hand at all times, even in very wet conditions.
