Polaris’ spacecraft has landed on planet Earth in February 2016 in Santiago, Chile. Headwear have been part of skateboarding culture forever and as a skater myself, this has always caught my attention. So, one day my curiosity led me to take apart one of my favorite old 5 panel caps and learn how to put it back together again. After a lot of trial and error a whole universe has opened up for me, therefore, for all of us.
Care for our planet, living beings and surrounding is part of our nature and we strongly believe that we must be the change we want to see in this world, and of course every bit counts.
Each of our items is aiming to create consciousness. We see beauty among your trash, we see resources claiming to be used in every trace that fast fashion has left behind and over all, we want our bags and caps be means of expression for all of you. Upcycling & Sustainability
Instead of showing you a huge list of why you shouldn't support Fast fashion brands that aren't paying workers a fair living wage and that are creating a ‘throw-away’ attitude leading people into a consumerist and unsustainable system. We are here, to show you the bright side of Fashion and the whole universe that is within UPCYCLING.
UPCYCLING is one of the coolest and more clever areas within eco-friendly fashion. It means to transform clothes, accessories, and textile waste into new products in a way to create an item of higher quality and more value than the original.
WHAT WE DO?
We are rescuing the best trash around Berlin to turn your normal life into a galactic experience, thus reducing the cycle of environmental pollution.
HOW WE DO IT?
All our items are 90% upcycled, no Human-animals were exploited in the fabrication process. We try to keep our environmental footprint as small as it is possible buying from local suppliers, re-using packaging and moving around always by bike or skateboard.
WHERE DO WE GET OUR MATERIALS FROM?
Mostly from Berlin' streets

All the magic happens in our lovely Atelier located in Berlin-Neukölln, just a few meters away of our favorite Skatepark “MBU”.
