Wheat germ, which is obtained by grinding pure wheat, is extremely nutritious. Rich in proteins, fats, amino acids, minerals (sodium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, iron and fluorine) and vitamins (A, E, B1, B2, B3, B6). Of all the foods, wheat germ is the one that, comparatively, offers the greatest amount of vitamin E (0.6g vit E/ 100g germ oil), being a powerful antioxidant and cardiovascular protector.
