10 years ago, after discovering physiological babywearing during a workshop, we made our first ""mei tai"" to wear Vassily. We found it more practical than the wrap and to make it more comfortable than traditional Asian baby carriers, we started to pad the shoulder straps, then the belt. We took it everywhere with us and other parents started asking us to make it to carry their babies. And this is how the Ptitsy Moloko company was born.
5 years ago, to wear Melvil, we looked for more comfort, for him, and for us. With two big avid to discover the world, we needed a means of portage which allows us to carry a long time and comfortably. So we created a mei tai with generously padded straps and waistband, and we naturally turned to organic cotton and a broken twill weave to make the structure of this new baby carrier. He immediately won unanimous support when we presented him to our customers, and they were the ones who called him the ""Ptitsy"".
In 2016, after a dozen prototypes, we launched the ""Cliptsy"", our preformed baby carrier with clips, even easier and faster to install.
We still have many projects in mind. Some may see the light of day, and others not, but what is certain is that we are passionate about the world of babies and that we will never stop imagining ways to wear them so that you can keep closer to you, while being free to go where you want.
