The silk blouse consists of 100% organic silk, the so-called Eri silk. The material is very soft and light. It originated in Assam, a northeastern state of India. Because the caterpillars feed exclusively on the castor bean plant. In contrast to conventional silk processing, the caterpillars that spin the silk cocoons continue their life after metamorphosis as moths. The material is processed into a blouse in its undyed state. This allows you to see the natural color palette of this wild silk, which ranges from creamy white to light brown. Above all, the texture of this silk is special.
