Geordie - Don't Be Fooled By the Name Graced with the incomparable vocal talents of Brian Johnson - later to achieve global fame as the lead singer with AC/DC - Newcastle-Upon-Tyne's hard rockin' Geordie released a string of influential albums in the 1970s and even visited the upper reaches of the singles chart. For their second album - 1974's 'Don't Be Fooled By the Name' - the band engaged man-of-the-moment photographer Mick Rock (Bowie, Queen, Lou Reed) to shoot the startling cover shot of the band posing as old-time Chicago gangsters... and the music was no less of an all-out assault. Highlights include the 7-minute epic 'Mercenary Man' and a cover of the traditional/Animals classic 'House of the Rising Sun'. Disc 11. Goin' Down - Geordie2. House of the Rising Sun - Geordie3.
