The most common design of Abadeh is the so-called "Heybatlou", which dates back to one of the Gashgai sub-tribes. This design features a large hexagon with a rosette or medallion in the center and corners. Part of the design are small floral motifs, animals such as birds and camels or small geometric designs. These are spread all over the carpet. Abadeh can be found in all sizes up to 6 m². Due to their often structured and symmetrical design, Abadeh are great runners for the hallway or kitchen. They usually appear in subtle colors such as reddish brown, beige and blue.
