The traditional use of wool for warp and weft gives these carpets a typically soft structure. The colorful designs are based on hooked diamonds, rhombuses, squares and other geometric tribal motifs. Smaller traditional motifs are spread across the background. Blue, red and white are the dominant colors, although many other colors are often implemented.
