Crafts SABIÁ- leaf APUÍ placemat - Orange

Natural rubber placemat made by hand in the Brazilian Amazon forest. From a leaf of the "APUÍ" plant, a mold is made in sand and then in aluminium. The rubber is then poured, then a vegetable color obtained with extracts of urucum is applied before the sheet is left to dry. The extraction of rubber is done by 75 families of indigenous peoples, who live from their crafts and in harmony with nature. The rubber is biodegradable, vegan and without chemical additives. Dimensions: approximately 46cm X 37cm Care: Clean with soap and water then dry. Supports the heat of dishes and pans.
