PACK 08 - SABIÁ craftsmanship in natural rubber

Natural rubber handicrafts made by hand in the Brazilian Amazon rainforest. 4 sheets "Vitoria Régia" - Dimensions: 54 cm in diameter and border 1.5 cm high. 6 "Capeba" sheets - Dimensions: 42 cm in diameter. 6 "Apuî" sheets - Dimensions: approximately 46cm X 37cm From a leaf of the "Vitoria Régia" plant, a mold is made in sand and then in aluminium. The rubber is then poured, then a vegetable color obtained with extracts of leaves and plants is applied before the leaf is left to dry. The extraction of rubber is done by 75 families of indigenous peoples, who live from their crafts and in harmony with nature. The rubber is biodegradable, vegan and without chemical additives. Care: Clean with soap and water then dry. Supports the heat of dishes and pans.
