Creation of NUTE
A native of the Île de Ré, Nute began studying applied arts in Nantes in 2010 to expand his artistic fiber and perfect his knowledge of art history. At the same time, he developed a passion for woodworking at a relatively young age and finally set up his carpentry business in 2018. It is through this dual learning that he develops a certain sensitivity to the protection of the planet and the preservation of marine and terrestrial environments. Naturally, he decides to use his markers and spray paint to translate his demands. For almost 10 years now, Nute has been graffitiing its colorful commitment on the Atlantic coast: large whales alongside which appear the slogan “Save the big fat whales”. A message of awareness about the protection of the oceans and its inhabitants, accessible to all passers-by, which has become emblematic of the Relais coasts. His two professions as a visual artist and a carpenter allow him today to work in his own way for the protection of the environment. Its rainbow-colored cetaceans appear to us as an immutable reminder to the preservation of the species.
