 <meta charset="utf-8"> <meta charset="utf-8"> <p data-mce-fragment="1"><span data-mce-fragment="1">Alphons Mucha, born in Eibenschütz on July 24, 1860 and died in Prague on July 14, 1939, is a poster artist, illustrator, graphic designer , Czechoslovakian painter, interior designer, decorator and art teacher. 

He is a major representative of the Art Nouveau style. </span></p> <p data-mce-fragment="1"><span data-mce-fragment="1">Reproduction of a poster by Alfons Mucha from 1898 on Vergés 220G light ivory paper. 

These artisanal prints are made in our workshops in La Rochelle.</span></p> <h3>“The arts”</h3> <p>In this series celebrating four genres of art, Mucha has intentionally not resorted to any usual attributes such as feathers, musical instruments or painting materials, instead he chooses for each category of art a background representing a different time of the day, it is morning for Dance, midday for Painting, evening for Poetry, and night for Music.</p> <p data-mce-fragment="1"><span data-mce-fragment="1"></span> </p>
