Alpaca Baby Blanket / Shawl - Pale grey

A family heirloom and perfect gift for a newborn, this luxury baby shawl has been lovingly knitted using a soft, warm alpaca wool blend by our artisan studio in Peru. Alpaca is a hollow, breathable fiber which is extremely insulating. The double bed knit means the pattern is reversible, so perfect both sides of the blanket - no floaters like you usually get with fair isle knitting. Featuring a trotting alpaca motif along each end, the blanket will continue to delight from one generation to the next. Baby model pictured here was 11 weeks old. Blanket measures 60 x 90cm / 57 1/2 x 35 1/2 inches. Matching hats and mitts available.
