Alpaca Jersey Knit Scarf

Generously sized, superfine Jersey Knit Shawl in buttery soft 100% alpaca wool. Ideal for any season, weightlessly warm and hypoallergenic. Alpaca was once treasured by the nobility of the Incas in Peru hundreds of years ago for its softness, amazing insulating properties and its durability. Alpaca fibre has a long staple which means that it won't pill and bobble after the first few wears like other fibres do. We've felted it slightly to help avoid snags/pulls, but we do recommend being careful with rings and jewellery like you would with any delicate garment. You will find that although the scarf is very light, it will keep you warm on cool Summer evenings - a great alternative to wearing a jacket. - And by the way, it washes beautifully. Cool handwash/max 30 degrees Celsius. Don't tumble dry. Lay flat on a towel to avoid stretching. Press / iron gently with a low heat if required, although creases will fall out with wear!
