Surgras organic cold soap silk & Ardèche thyme

Softness and hydration Extremely soft and silky soap suitable for all skin types Cold saponified, handmade 6% overgreasing Silk cocoons raised in Ardèche: moisturizes and coats the skin Sweet linalool thyme cultivated by us: floral and sweet scent. Was designed in partnership with the Magnanerie museum in Lagorce in Sud Ardèche (one of the last producers in France). Silk cocoons are made up of two proteins, fibroin and sericin, which hydrate and sheath the skin. The cocoons were traditionally immersed in boiling water with the worm. In order to respect nature and animals, we have set up a different process. The cocoons are opened 3 days before the chrysalis emerge. The pupae are placed on a damp cloth so that they become butterflies, lay eggs and continue their cycle.
