Because if you use buttons instead of zippers, the air can circulate in your bed linen and thus remove moisture better. So they are not particularly sustainable. Our thread buttons, however - made by hand - are plastic-free and unbreakable thanks to a small metal ring. A button may be a small fine detail, but that is exactly what makes the difference in quality. Half-linen bedding is easy to care for. You can simply put them in the washing machine at 60° degrees on a full wash cycle with mild detergent. Cooking at 90° is also possible, but you don't have to, because our half-linen is grown without pesticides. It dries quickly after washing and its natural crinkled look is stylish. 3 steps to more sustainability Our sustainable fabrics come from Portugal. They are processed in our manufactory in Bielefeld.
