100% RECYCLED FIBERS  Our clothes are designed in a circular way, using only recycled materials. The Pipeline LS Tee is composed of 50% recycled cotton, sourced from textile industry waste, and 50% recycled polyester, collected from used plastic bottles. THE PERFECT EQUILIBRIUM  We opted for a 50% - 50% mix of recycled cotton and recycled polyester for one simple reason: it brings out both materials' advantages. The recycled cotton gives a soft touch, keeps you warm, while the polyester enables breathability and repels sweat.  TRANSPARENCY Each product has a story that we believe is worth sharing. Here is the journey that this tee went through:  * _YARN_: Our recycled yarn is first produced in the north of Alicante, Spain.  * _FABRIC KNITTING & MANUFACTURING_: Our fabric is then knitted and manufactured into the Shak & Kai Pipeline LS tee in the district of Braga, in Portugal. CLEANING THE OCEAN  On top of creating sustainable and circular clothes, we believed we could do more. Located on Oahu’s North Shore, in Hawaii, the Banzaï Pipeline is what you might call the most prestigious spot on the planet. The Pipeline wave explodes on a coral reef in very shallow water. The spot is as famous as it is dangerous. Indeed, swell refraction is greatly responsible for the miracle of Pipeline and the speedy cylinders break only a few feet above the underwater obstacles. A tube with an abyssal depth that works almost flawlessly at any height from 1 meter to 5 meters. When conditions are perfect, there are sometimes more than a hundred surfers in the water.
