ÉINSTALLATION STEPS Prepare the printer Turn on your HP printer and open the top cover to access the cartridge compartment. Remove the old cartridge. Wait for the print carriage to move to the center. Gently remove the empty cartridge by pulling it towards you. Unpack the new cartridge Remove the compatible cartridge from its packaging and remove all protective coverings (plastic film, tape from the print head). Insert the cartridge Place the XL Black cartridge in the left slot. Place the XL Color cartridge in the right slot. Press firmly until you hear a click. Close the cover Close the top cover of the printer. The carriage repositions itself automatically. Start the alignment Your printer may request automatic alignment.
