Black as the night "Night becoming" is the literal translation of the nocturne - a form of music that was created in the baroque era. In the Romantic era, the composer Frédéric Chopin brought the nocturnal theme to perfection with his “21 Nocturnes”. His gracefully melancholy piano pieces immediately found an enthusiastic audience. For our monochrome black NOCTURNE we have chosen his most popular night piece, the “Nocturne Opus 9”. In the Black Forest, the 18-part mechanical musical mechanism is used in solid oak, turned and covered with an open-pore silk-matt lacquer.
