Dearle designed many of the later wallpapers and textiles released by William Morris’s company.  ‘Bourne’ is one of the designs created by Dearle in 1905. The cream background features a symmetrical pattern of curling green leaves juxtaposed with wild and vibrant vermillion flowers and delicate blue florals.
