Originating from an artisan butcher's shop, the Singer ham manufactory continues the tradition of artisanal raw ham and raw sausage specialties made with selected ingredients, just as the grandfather of today's master butcher, Alexander Singer, founded in 1938.

In addition to classic Black Forest ham, the product range also includes air-dried specialties such as coppa and herb fillet, and various salami variations.

Particular attention is paid to the manual production. Our products embody our passion, love and the multitude of actions that we invest in each product. With Alexander's passion, attention to detail and perfectionism, we ensure unique pleasurable experiences. Every piece of our product is touched at least 24 times during the manufacturing process. Due to the constant manual control, we can guarantee perfect products of the best quality.

With our historic smoking tower, built by our grandfather in 1972 and a total of 18.34 meters high, we also cultivate real craftsmanship when it comes to smoking.
The fill placed in the historic vaulted cellar of our manufactory, composed of Black Forest sawdust and brushwood, smolders for several weeks. This is where our ham hangs and gets its typical character from the smoke over a period of several weeks. The smoke is not led into ultra-modern chambers to smoke our ham there, but climbs the smoke tower made of brick.
Due to the limited capacity of the smoke tower, only one small batch can be accommodated in the smoke tower and go through the slow smoking process.
