Space_Play was established by two Birmingham-based architectural and urban designers to research, challenge, and develop ideas, concepts, and products across several disciplines. Our passion for both designing and making meant creating a base for dedicated studio space, equipment and the right partners were imperative to Space_Play as a collective. We currently offer services such as in-house laser-cutting, architectural model-making and craft via artwork and commissions in addition to developing our own projects, artwork and research.
We are a small team with experience in architecture and urban design both in the UK and abroad, but our passion lies in collaborating with others, to challenge, define, and develop our understanding of every project. Our approach gives us flexibility in bringing additional project partners and consultants on board to give each project the rigour and quality it demands at all stages.
