To ensure that their beneficial properties are retained during use, they are soaked in a bath of natural rubber milk. Once the sap of the rubber tree has penetrated and saturated the grain husks, they are dried and heated. The solid rubber with its indestructible durability gives them stability and a long service life. Millet husks with rubber are dust-free and very resistant to fine abrasion. Their open porosity and high capacity to absorb moisture are retained even with the approximately 5% rubber content. Tested organic quality speltex® organic millet husks were obtained in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007. They are tested for their organic origin by the LACON Institute (state-approved testing center in accordance with the EU organic regulation). The rubber milk comes from sustainable forestry in Sri Lanka. Care The filling can be washed up to 60°C, preferably in a special laundry net. This allows for quick drying by turning it over several times in the sun or in the dryer. Please ensure that it is completely dry. If you want a flatter, more flexible pillow, remove some of the filling. By adding it you get a higher cushion and more supportive firmness. The shells, which adhere to each other in a slightly fluffy manner due to the rubber, come apart during use. This makes the filling even smoother. Thanks to the rubber impregnation, the bowls are very break-resistant and can be used for ten years or more. They curl up a bit during the lying down phase.
