Restwood Vase

The Restwood vases are made of wood that has been saved from the stove. Margriet saw beautiful large blocks between them and asked what would happen to them. That's firewood, said the joiner. What a waste! Margriet has taken a seat behind the drawing board and has made simple archetypal drawings so that the furniture maker can now easily transform the large remaining blocks into beautiful design vases. By means of a glass test tube you can put water in it and put flowers in it. Usually they are made of oak wood, but beech wood is also possible. Each vase is unique because of its veins and possible knots and/or tears. The thickness of the vases varies due to the use of residual wood between 6 and 8 cm thick.
