Porcelain dog bowl

The bowls that we developed with the porcelain designer Barbara Flügel stand for both functional and elegant design. The ergonomic shape of the StyleSnout porcelain bowls with the smooth inner bowl is comfortable for the dog to eat and drink. In addition, it enables easy, daily cleaning and thus guarantees the important hygiene of the feeding area. Of course, porcelain can also be cleaned in the dishwasher. The StyleSnout porcelain bowls are handmade by Barbara Flügel PORZELLAN. Casting, garnishing, plastering, glazing and firing is done in the manufactory by specialists. It is real German hard-paste porcelain, which consists of approx. 50% kaolin, 25% feldspar and 25% quartz. Fired at 1400 degrees Celsius, these raw materials are fused in a complicated firing process to create the noble, absolutely dense and smooth material porcelain with its unique properties. All decors are fired in at 860 degrees Celsius during the third firing, thereby guaranteeing their good durability. The bowls are therefore extremely fine but at the same time very hard-wearing. Why does it have to be a porcelain dog bowl?! Stable: The stable conical shape with high weight ensures optimal stability. Hygienic: The dense, closed and smooth surface protects perfectly against mould, bacteria and viruses and is acid and alkaline resistant. Health: No pollutants can be absorbed through eating, which is an important issue for allergy sufferers. Tasteless and odorless: Porcelain absorbs nothing and does not shed anything. By cleaning, the material always returns to its original condition. Food-safe: Free from allergy triggers such as heavy metals, nickel and chromium. No plasticizers, surface chemicals or dyes. SCRATCH RESISTANT: The hardness of the porcelain prevents the dog from scratching, tearing or damaging the surface - hardness grade 8 (diamond 10). Easy to care for: White porcelain is dishwasher safe. Decorated items should be cleaned by hand with hot water, washing-up liquid and a cloth. Sustainable: Porcelain has consistent quality and will outlive generations. It is already 90% sustainable during production, since production and manufacturing residues are recycled in the manufactory.
