The 7 layers are sewn into square panels so that no layer can slip and the weight of the weighted blanket remains even. The cover has 8 internal ties that can be knotted to the heavy blanket to keep the blanket in place. FIND THE IDEAL WEIGHT: The weight of the weighted blanket should be 10-12% of your own body weight, i.e. for the 6.8 kg blanket, the body weight should be between 60-90 kg. We do NOT recommend using the weighted blanket if you are pregnant, have children, babies, have heart conditions or anyone who cannot move and carry the blanket themselves. CARE: We recommend dry cleaning or hand washing the weighted blanket only & then only allow to air dry. The fleece cover can be machine washed cold on low or delicate, please do not use bleach or strong detergents.
