Posters By Kockumskranen - Malmö

Our posters, posters and large paintings are characterized by well-known motifs from Sweden and famous world cities. This poster has a picture of the Kockumskranen from Malmö, a gantry crane that was built in the mid-70s. With a track width of 175 meters, a track length of 710 meters, a lifting capacity of 1500 tons and a height of about 140 meters, the crane was for a long time a landmark at Kockum's shipyard area. In the early 90s, the crane was sold to the Danish company Burmeister & Wain, although they went bankrupt before the crane could be moved. In 2002, the crane was moved to Ulsan in South Korea. The last time the Kockumskranen was used in Sweden was in 1997 when it lifted the foundations that were used as a basis for building the Öresund Bridge. All copies are screen printed in 50x70 format on 170g quality paper. Each copy is delivered in a cardboard tube. Frame not included. Dimensions: W 50 cm H 70 cm.
