This hand woven pure wool shawl features a combination of traditional Sindh Embroidery and Mirror work. Handmade tassels at the ends of the shawl add to the charm. Sindh Embroidery, a geometric embroidery, starts with a foundation framework of herringbone stitch and is later filled entirely with interlacing. This traditional embroidery is a signature art of tribal community of Kutch District in Gujarat. Herringbone stitch is also used to fix the mirrors to the fabric.
