CYANOTYPE Fern Frame

The cyanotype process is a printing technique that we wanted to bring up to date. The process was invented in 1842. Its invention was initially adopted by botanists for the purpose of illustrating plant specimens. Our cyanotypes are made by hand, mounted in their natural wood frames with a copper signature. As each cyanotype is done manually, the shades of blue vary subtly and make the painting absolutely unique. The pieces are numbered
