I am Mathilda Wagenaar, the person behind TABOO.
I am the one who designs and makes all jewelry. I think it's a shame that there is so much mass production in the world and that's why I want to show that it can also be done on a smaller scale, but for a friendly price. The moment you order a piece of jewelry from TABOO, your piece of jewelry is made especially for you! For large productions I work together with a sheltered workshop. They work with young people who, for whatever reason, would like to reintegrate into the labor market. In this way I keep production close to home and I can mean something to these young people.
My designs follow the trends, but I try to make my designs just a little bit different from the crowd!
