Here we celebrate the sun, the holidays, and simply good living. We put on a pretty sarong, this ankle support above our feet, a nice pair of sandals and we stroll between the beaches and the little shops of the island. Corossol is this small, very traditional fishing village on the island, with the sweet name of a very exotic fruit. This small port which overlooks a charming bay of brown sand, has a little air of paradise. There are traditional boats, dories, as well as lobster traps ready to be thrown into the water. The village also perpetuates a tradition of local crafts, the weaving of straw, with dried latan leaves, to make hats, among other things.
