Coffee from Bolivia - Yungas

An organic local coffee (86) which ensures production under shade. We have been offering coffees from the North region for 3 years now. During our last sourcing trip, we saw with despair that "external consultants" advised the Yungas people to raze the forest in which the coffee trees grow to increase their yield, or even to abandon organic certification to authorize chemical treatments. We have therefore decided to put in place very precise specifications that encourage reasoned agricultural practices and reforestation within organic certification. A Grand Cru coffee with notes of vanilla and caramel.
