Blue glass coasters

Set of six hand-painted coasters with the 'sous verre' technique so typical of Senegal. The six form a unit although each one shows its own and different motif. The African scenes, so colorful and naïve, exude a charming tenderness. Each coaster has an intermediate size and a particular hardness and shine. Therefore, when you use them, you will see that they bring a beautiful and friendly color to the table. Although it has been known since ancient times, it arrived in Senegal in the 19th century and has become one of its best-known and most representative artistic manifestations.
