The family-run winery Vega Aixalà is located almost 2 hours west of Barcelona in the mountains of the Conca de Barberà region which connects to the world-famous Priorat area. At an altitude of 850-900 meters, the Vega family cultivates 10 hectares in terraces on black slate soil and only makes around 30,000 bottles a year. They have marked the exact number of each variety on the label. Eva, the daughter of the Vega family, is the vintner of these absolutely fine and velvety natural wines. The name Emma comes from Eva's daughter. 2022 Emma Ancestral Pet-Nat is an excellent aperitif and terrace wine. With its pale yellow color, notes of pastry, white flowers, white spring fruits and medium carbonation, it tastes intense and delicate at the same time.
