Leaping Reindeer - Card

“The Night Before Christmas” was written in 1822 by Clement C Moore for his children. It was the first record of reindeer pulling Santa’s sleigh. It iss a mix of European legends, Norse mythology and aspects of the story of the Christian Saint Nicholas. Clement named the eight reindeer Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen. Watercolour illustration of Leaping Reindeer by Daniel Mackie. Printed on high quality 330gsm card.
