Established in 1948, The Portable Porter Company invented the first wheels for luggage. Founded by Hebert Mingo during the 1940s the company was synonymous for wheeled luggage. The brand was sold in Harrods, Jlewis, Selfridges and many other retailers between the 40s- 70s. Fast forward to the year 2020, Herberts Grandson re-opened the archives re-launching the business with a 21st century face lift. Our new found mission is bring identity to the luggage market, placing focus on high quality materials and timeless design. The heritage collection just dropped in three colours.
