Tabbouleh

Much-loved in the Lebanon this blend of fine bulghur wheat, herbs, spices and red pepper makes a delicious salad with chopped tomatoes (lots!), diced cucumber and shredded Cos (Romaine) lettuce with olive oil and lemon juice. Sumach gives it a delicious citrussy tang backed by Allspice and peppery Baharat. To make pour on very hot water and waiting 8/10 minutes while you prep your salad ingredients. For a more substantial salad add cubed feta and olives or slices of grilled Halloumi - topped with some fresh mint leaves of course! Contains wheat. Not suitable for a gluten-free diet.
