I created this company in 2017, at the beginning of my expatriation in the United States. I found myself in a bubbling culture that I thought I knew. There, I met creative women and groups of women entrepreneurs who inspired me enormously. By becoming a mother under the air of Trump, I discovered an unlimited motivation to talk about subjects that animated me, such as feminism (which is not a bad word!), the rights of minorities, origins, differences, and a boundless love for entrepreneurship. I tried embroidery during my pregnancy and this technique quickly imposed itself on me as the best way to express myself. Being a great collector of images since my childhood, these two facets quickly came together to form my main line of work and creation: photo embroidery (on fabric or paper).
My immigrant point of view on this society has nourished my practice. I embroidered a lot, then I gave a lot of lessons and finally, as a logical continuation, I started creating embroidery kits. I really like to transmit this passion that is embroidery, but I felt too limited geographically, especially compared to France and Europe by living on the other side of the Atlantic.
Today, I came back to settle in France, in Anjou. Despite this, my work, whether it be my creations or my kits, remains nourished by my years spent in the United States.
