Caponata is a traditional vegan recipe from Sicily, made with eggplants, bell pepper, capers and olives. This ready to cook cous cous tasty recipe contains 100% natural ingredients. We included in the package everything you need to prepare at home, in 5/6 minutes, an authentic Sicilian recipe. Our range is 100% natural and free from: - chemicals, - added sugar, - added fats (except olive oil), - animal derivatives (so they are vegan!) We use just fresh vegetables carefully selected and minimally processed to create meals both authentically Italian and easy-to-prepare. Serving: 3 Cooking time: 7/9 minutes DIRECTIONS: bring to boil 550 ml of water and 3 or more tbsp oil. Stir in the content of the package, cover and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. Turn off the heat and let it rest for 2/4 minutes. Season to taste, drizzle with oil and serve. SUGGESTIONS: serve with some cubes of Feta cheese and tuna in oil. WINE PAIRING: Red, still, medium body wines.
