Our creamy risotto with porcini mushrooms and saffron combines the intense flavors of the forest with the delicate scent of saffron. Easy to prepare yet steeped in tradition, it tells the story of centuries of Lombardy's culinary heritage. A dish that brings warmth, sophistication, and the timeless charm of Northern Italian cuisine to the table. Our range is 100% natural and free from: - chemicals, - added sugar, - added fats (except olive oil), - animal derivatives (so they are vegan!) We use just fresh vegetables carefully selected and minimally processed to create meals both authentically Italian and easy-to-prepare. Servings: 2 Cooking time: 16/18 minutes DIRECTIONS: Bring 750 ml of water and 2 or more tbsp oil to a boil in large non-stick skillet or pan.  Stir in the content of the package, cover and cook over medium heat for 16 minutes, adding more water if needed. Remove the lid and keep cooking for 2 minutes or more UNTIL THE WATER IS ALMOST COMPLETELY ABSORBED AND THE SAUCE IS CREAMY. Season to taste, add a knob of salted butter and optional grated cheese before serving. SUGGESTIONS: add 1/4 of glass of white wine into the boiling water. During cooking add 80g of minced meat and some nuts; add some heavy cream 2 minutes before removing from heat. WINE PAIRING: Cabernet or other red wines.
