Tierra de barros is much more than a ceramics studio: it is a tribute to the earth, to the hands that shape it, and to the process that transforms it. Located in Illar, a small town at the foot of the Alpujarra Mountains of Almería, Julia and Milena joined forces in search of origin to create unique pieces that reflect the essence of our surroundings.
We work with local clays, respecting each of their characteristics, adapting to them to discover the best way to bring what nature offers us to life. In each piece we seek a story, a mark that connects the recipient with the origins of our land.
