Ornate Brass Currency Bracelet

This massive ornate brass bracelet is a form of currency found among the Bamun people of Cameroon. Although, traditionally used as a currency bracelet, it also served as a prestige piece used by Bamoun elites during traditional ceremonies. Today, these bracelets are a favorite among interior designers decorators, and art collectors.
