José - Ayacucho Cushion

This unique cushion was handwoven by women artisans in the Andean city of Ayacucho. They use 100% natural sheep wool and natural dyes. This piece was woven using the traditional technique of the waist loom. The flowers are hand-embroidered. The shapes and figures have a meaning, they depict how Andean communities interpret the world.  This ethnic cushion can add texture to your living room sofa or armchair, as well as to your bedroom.
