The Story of the UBEYA (UBE) Brand — Young Entrepreneur Version
UBEYA is the story of a young entrepreneur who stumbled upon a completely different product: ube, a purple tuber that has been used for centuries in the Philippines.
Its incredible color, its mild taste, and its 100% natural aspect… I immediately thought:
“Why doesn’t anyone know about this in France?”"
HAS At that moment, I understood that I had a card to play.
I wanted to create a fun, modern and creative brand, far removed from bland, healthy products.
A product that makes you want to test it, post about it, and share it.
The idea for UBEYA was born like this:
👉 to introduce a unique ingredient to France,
👉 to bring it into a premium and modern setting,
👉 and to create collaborations with coffee shops, studios, cafes and cool places so that people can taste ube in original recipes.
I started contacting Parisian coffee shops, Pilates studios, creative workshops, small local businesses… and each time the reaction was the same:
“What is this color?” That's so cool.”
That's when I realized I had a real product in my hands.
Today, UBEYA is a young, ambitious brand that wants to bring a new flavor to French food culture.
Not just a product: a vibe, a discovery, something new that you want to share with friends or family.
