Nowadays we prefer not to have a "loaded" urn in our living room, but a beautiful work of art that symbolizes our connection with the deceased. With this way of commemorating in our minds, we have designed this urn. Both appearance and symbolism have been taken into account during the design of this Sugar Skull. The Sugar Skull finds its original meaning in the commemoration of a deceased person. This urn has a rich and graceful appearance, due to the shape, curls and hearts. The ash tray is like a box of coated steel, it offers space for more than 3 liters of cremation ashes. This space is also suitable as a memory box where you can put items such as jewelry, tuft of hair, note, piece of fabric. There is sufficient space on the foot for a photo, tea light or vase, among other things. In short… a beautiful work of art with a beautiful symbolism to commemorate your loved one in a personal way. Partly due to the meaning and thought behind a Sugar Skull, it is increasing in popularity. The Skull has its origin in Mexico. These are decorated skulls that are made for the Day of the Dead (Dia de Los Muertos). Death is part of life and the deceased may be extensively commemorated and honored. On the other hand, it is also a very beautiful way of commemorating. The Rose and the hearts in the Skull stand for love and connection. The marigold symbolizes commemoration and honor. The steel is then powder coated* in the color anthracite black (RAL 7021). Other RAL colors are available on request. *Powder coating is an electrostatic painting process in which negatively charged powder is sprayed onto a positively charged workpiece with compressed air. This causes the powder to temporarily stick, after which it is melted in an oven. Edit By means of 2 screws you can mount the Sugar Skull on the top part of the ash tray. After filling, the ash drawer can be closed by means of 2 locking pins, holes through which these locking pins fit have been lasered out. Screws, locking pins and manual are included. Cleaning Easy to clean with a soft cloth or sponge with a little water and washing-up liquid. Do not sand!
