We are a Spanish publisher that began its journey in 2014, currently based in the province of Segovia and directed by the art editor Sandra Márquez.
The editorial project focuses on the publication of classic rarities and works on popular historical, sociological, folkloric and mythological themes, mainly written in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Our catalog includes high-quality stories, short stories, and novels by well-known authors who, for various reasons, have not reached the general public at the time or have been modified. The publishing house is also interested in works that address topics such as history, sociology, folklore and popular mythology, mainly written during the 19th and early 20th centuries.
We currently have two small collections of current authors called ESSENTIALS and TERRA.
What mainly sets us apart from other publishers is the focus on synesthesia and art. We make careful editions in collaboration with painters, engravers and illustrators, using soft or hard covers, and special papers adapted to each work. Each book is treated as a work of art, and certain textures, colors and qualities are used according to each project, so that the reading experience is complete for the reader.
In short, at Uve Books we focus on rescuing literary jewels from the past, and bringing them to the present with a careful and specialized aesthetic, so that the reader enjoys a unique and enriching experience.
