Old Pearls - Mauritius - 50% - 70cl

VSOP rum from Mauritius, molasses, aged first in American oak barrels then refined in ex-cognac and ex-orange liqueur barrels. Whoever has never loved cocoa, cast the first stone! Here we dive without hesitation into a bath of dark chocolate, cocoa powder, generous, fatty, thick, runny! The feeling and smell of pulling out a chocolate fondant, buttery and runny.. The orange arrives very frankly afterwards, juicy, pulpy, like a diva making her entrance on stage! We are bathed in a vice of gingerbread, cinnamon, dark chocolate, a slight empyreumatic side that feels good! We used to say chocolate fondant, and what a fondant! This is the exact term that corresponds, the rum literally melts with generous chocolate, with orange almost like sorbet! What fat, what thickness, what density!  An orange peel, gingerbread fresh from the oven, a creamy tiramisu...  It's Christmas in a glass!
