The Muffin's Halo Blind Dog is a harness with a ring (halo) that protects blind and visually impaired dogs. The halo ensures that they do not bump into hard or sharp objects. The ring also warns the dog first when they are about to collide. With this ring, dogs learn through signals, thanks to a Pavlovian effect. This is the principle on which Muffin's Halo is also based. By providing stimuli in advance, the dog learns to navigate in a living room or outdoors when it cannot see. A dog benefits from this for two reasons. Firstly, because the animal is less likely to get hurt. Secondly, because this protection also makes the dog mentally calmer in the long run. Thus, the Halo contributes to a comfortable life. The ring is specially designed so that older and smaller dogs can wear it too. It is made of lightweight material that easily wraps around the dog. This way, the dog is not hindered from doing what it always does: playing, drinking, eating, cuddling, and sleeping.
