AOP Pic Saint Loup. GRAPE VARIETIES Syrah, Grenache. VINIFICATION Traditional vinification in vats, temperature control at the start of fermentation, long 30-day maceration with moderate extractions and continuous stirring of the lees. Aged in vats for 4 to 12 months. SERVING TEMPERATURE 17°C. TASTING NOTES Beautiful salmon color. A nose of strawberry and melon, also chalky and ending with a pronounced tangy lemon. Good persistence of aromas in the finish. Smooth mouthfeel with nice balance and good acidity. A bold, very pleasant pink. FOOD AND WINE PAIRING Delicious with grilled meats, roasted peppers, roasted vegetables, and cheeses.
